Destination Dallas Summer Architecture Workshop
Join architect and educator Peter Goldstein, AIA, for a week-long workshop exploring some of the most talked-about and innovative structures in Dallas. Participants will visit buildings designed by a host of the world’s leading architects including Pritzker Prize laureates Renzo Piano, Richard Meier, Norman Foster and Thom Mayne.
Workshop participants will be given the unique opportunity to experience in-depth, behind the scenes tours of the Nasher Sculpture Center, the Winspear Opera House, and The Rachofsky House. Participants will also visit a local architecture firm and projects currently under construction in downtown Dallas, including the Woodall Rodgers Deck Park and the Perot Museum of Nature & Science. During the program, students will also work on a series of projects that will develop their drawing, model making and creative problem solving skills.
